In 2006 Ali founded The Quick and The Dead, an international performance ensemble from Greece, Turkey, Spain, Italy and Peru. Through practical research with the group, she developed an embodied approach to training actors, Core Training.
They toured performances and held workshops at drama schools, universities and festivals, including RADA, Central and the Young Vic in the UK, and Japan, Greece, Finland, Poland and Taiwan.
Company members have included: Alexia Kokkali, Daniela Garcia Casilda, Göze Saner, Tatiana Bre with associates Chiara D’Anna, Janice Barton and Luis Mudarra Gallo.

You Looking At Me
A multi-media installation inspired by the work of Portuguese artist, Paula Rego. It was filmed by BAFTA winner Molly Dineen. Shown in the cellars of Shoreditch Town Hall London, in 2015, the premiere was attended by Paula Rego.

Inspired by Lorca’s play The House of Bernarda Alba, performed at the Studio Theatre, Royal Holloway, London, and The Centre for Theatre Practices, Gardzienice, Poland. Filmed for Arts Archives by Peter Hulton.
